AWARDS AND RECOGNITIONS Ms. Megan Kraly, from Banting Memorial High School, was sworn in as the Student Mayor for the month of May, The following events were recognized : Marion Dunn Hoskin's 100th Birthday, 39th Annual CRIC Draw in Tottenham, Tottenham Beeton & District Chamber of Commerce Trade Fair, Tottenham Toot 'n' Hollar, Streams for Trees and the 2nd Annual Boyne River Clean-up. 3 DEPUTATIONS RELATING TO NEW MATTERS D-1 SIMCOE COUNTY DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD, BRIAN JEFFS, SUPERINTENDENT OF BUSINESS Re: Community Hub Partnership Update- Presentation Brian Jeffs, Superintendent of Business, John Dance, Superintendent of Facility Services, and Daryl Halliday, Superintendent of Business Services, Simcoe County District School Board, made a presentation to Council with regard to the Community Hub Partnership Update. D-2 ANTONY COSTANZO Re: Naming of New Tottenham Park "Nordstrom Park" This deputation was deleted from the agenda. D-3 PETER BARBATI Re: Presentation of Details for Proposed Test-Run of Community Bus Between New Tecumseth Communities Moved by Councillor Biss Seconded by Councillor Deputy Mayor Smith BE IT RESOLVED THAT the deputation of Peter Barbati with regard to details for a proposed test-run of a Community Bus between New Tecumseth Communities be received; AND FURTHER THAT the matter be referred back to staff to review community bus test run options as part of the staff report to come forward to Committee of the Whole within the Transportation Master Plan. 4 A by-law to authorize the signing and execution of an agency agreement renewal with Fire Marque Inc A by-law to confirm compliance with certain tile drainage financial obligations in the former Township of Tecumseth A by-law to authorize the signing and execution of an agreement with PerfectMind Inc. for Recreation, Membership and Booking Software and Prior and Prior Associates Ltd. for Project Management Services associated with this project A by-law to authorize the signing and execution of a Limited Use Exclusive Licence Agreement with the Totten ham & Beeton District Chamber of Commerce (Tottenham Bluegrass Festival Committee) for the use of the Tottenham Conservation Area GENERAL INFORMATION I ANNOUNCEMENTS PUBLIC NOTICE CONFIRMING BY-LAW Moved by Councillor Beattie Seconded by Councillor Whiteside BE IT RESOLVED THAT a by-law to confirm the proceeding of Council at its meeting on May 1, 2015 be read a First, Second and Third time and enacted.
