5 3. Approval of Prior Meeting Minutes. The October 5, 2010 meeting minutes were approved as written and distributed with no modifications. 4. Review of new NFPA codes and standards development process. The Committee attended a presentation by NFPA staff Allan Fraser on the new NFPA codes and standards development process. The presentation was followed-up by an additional review of the process and technical committee meetings procedures by Ms. Bigda. 5. NFPA 101 First Draft (formerly ROP) Preparation. All public inputs were addressed. Additional First Revisions and Committee Inputs were developed as needed. See First Draft ballot package and draft. 6. NFPA 5000 First Draft (formerly ROP) Preparation. All public inputs were addressed. Additional First Revisions and Committee Inputs were developed as needed. See First Draft ballot package and draft /5000 Chapter Comparison and Recommendations for First Revisions. The Committee reviewed Chapter 10 of NFPA 101 and NFPA 5000 and created First Revisions to correlate the provisions in the two documents where appropriate 8. Committee Scope Update. The Committee voted unanimously to modify the name and scope of the Committee to address interior finish as well as contents and furnishings. The proposed changes will be sent to the Correlating Committees for further action. See attachment A. 9. Other Business. No other business was addressed. 10. Future Meetings. The next meeting of the Building Code and Safety to Life Technical Committee on Furnishings and Contents will be the Second Draft (formerly ROC) meeting to be held in June 2013 at a location to be determined. 11.
