McLean, Treasurer or Michelle Larose, Clerk Administrator to attend the Engagement Sessions on behalf of the Municipality. 2) Recycling Council of Ontario - Proclamation Consensus to support; a motion to proclaim October 21 st - 27 th as recycling week will be presented to Council at the Regular Meeting of October 28 th. 3) Timmins & Area Mining Supply and Investment Project Councillor Britton reported on the project and indicated that there was a $5, commitment from the Community Development Team budget. 4) Porquis Recreation Centre - Siding on Building Direction was given to staff to write a letter of support for the Porquis Recreation Centre s application for funding for siding. 5) First Resource Management Group - Slash Burning Information item. 9 October 28, Committee Reports - (cont d) Attended the Public Health Unit meeting last week. flu vaccine clinics have started public health is open to all have a program that does grocery tours to assist people with reading labels and how to eat right Councillor Delaurier Community Policing will be on patrol on Thursday October 31 st for Halloween. Motorists are reminded to be careful. Councillor Boucher Interim Pool Supervisor, Vanessa Malherbe has started working. Interviews were held for Public Works and employees have now been hired. Councillor Britton Attended the Far Northeastern Training Board Annual General Meeting with Traci Workman on October 3, Attended a conference call on October 16, 2013 with Ian Duff and Traci Workman regarding the Industrial Park. Mayor Forget Along with Clerk Administrator, Michelle Larose and Mike Kearns, Director of Public Works, attended the Monteith Correctional Centre on the issue of the Rese Road Bridge closure. Attended the Cochrane District Social Planning Board Meeting in Timmins on October 9, Attended the Ontario Trillium announcement on Leadership training on October 17, Attended a Cochrane District Social Services Administration Board meeting in Timmins on October 24, General Business A) Rese Road Bridge Closure RESOLUTION NO Moved by: P. Britton BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Corporation of the Town of Iroquois Falls proclaim October 21 st to 27 th, 2013 as Waste Reduction Week within the corporate boundaries of the Town of Iroquois Falls. Shea BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Corporation of the Town of Iroquois Falls proclaim November, 2013 Lung Month within the corporate boundaries of the Town of Iroquois Falls. E) Christmas Parade E-1) Parade Route CARRIED RESOLUTION NO Moved by: P. Britton Seconded by: T. Boucher BE IT RESOLVED that the Town of Iroquois Falls hereby approves the parade being organized by the Iroquois Falls Christmas Parade Committee, to be held on Sunday, December 1 st, 2013, at 6:00 pm, providing the following conditions are met at least 15 days prior to the event date: 1. Provide written notice, including the route map, indicating the event date, time and location to the Anson General Hospital Ambulance Service, the Ontario Provincial Police, and the Iroquois Falls Fire Department for their information. 2. That parade participants are informed that items, such as candy, are prohibited from being thrown to bystanders from parade floats. Britton BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council authorize the Mayor and Clerk Administrator to sign the Attestation Form for the application for Funding under the Enabling Accessibility Fund Program. CARRIED Mayor Forget requested Councillor Shea to attend the Remembrance Day ceremonies and banquet to be held on November 11 th, Councillor Boucher inquired if the Access Transit Hall could be sold. Mayor Forget indicated that the Town would be applying for funding. Clerk Administrator, Michelle Larose reported that we are moving forward on the building and will be getting an estimate for repairs. Mayor Forget reported that Resolute Forest Products have announced the closure of #1 paper machine. Approximately jobs will be affected. 12. Passing of Accounts RESOLUTION NO Moved by: P. Mayor Forget welcomed everyone and opened the meeting at 6:40 pm. 2. General Business (A) Expression of Interest - Funding for Reconstruction of Ambridge Drive RESOLUTION NO Moved by: M. Shea Seconded by: Y. Carriere WHEREAS Council for the Town of Iroquois Falls acknowledges receipt of Issue Report - PW MK.ISS, relating to the Expression of Interest for funding to complete the reconstruction of Ambridge Dr.; AND WHEREAS Council acknowledges the funding received from the Municipal Infrastructure Investment Initiative (MIII) for the development of an Asset Management Plan, and that the Town of Iroquois Falls has been working diligently towards the completion of the required document by December 31st, 2013; AND WHEREAS Council considers, through the development of the Asset Management Plan, the reconstruction of Ambridge Dr., will be confirmed as a significant priority for the Town of Iroquois Falls; AND WHEREAS Council has reviewed the completed Expression of Interest for funding through the Small, Rural and Northern Municipal Infrastructure Fund - Capital Program, and declares that the information contained in the document is factually accurate; and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT directs Staff to submit the Expression of Interest, complete with all applicable documentation, to the Small, Rural and Northern Municipal Infrastructure Fund - Capital Program prior to the 5:00 pm November 1, 2013 deadline.

Opening Remarks Mayor Forget welcomed everyone and opened the meeting at 7:00 pm. 2. General Business (A) Expression of Interest - Funding for Reconstruction of Ambridge Drive RESOLUTION NO Moved by: Y. Carriere Seconded by: T. Boucher WHEREAS Council for the Town of Iroquois Falls passed a resolution on November 4th, 2013 with reference to the Expression of Interest Application under the Small, Rural and Northern Municipal Infrastructure Fund; AND WHEREAS Council wishes to amend the original resolution to include certain declarations pertaining to the application; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the following declarations be in addition to the resolution previously passed by Council; 1. The information in the Expression of Interest is factually accurate; 2. The Town of Iroquois Falls has a comprehensive asset management plan that includes all of the information and analysis described in "Building Together; Guide for Municipal Asset Management Plans" that will be in place by December 31, 2013; 3. The comprehensive asset management plan will be publicly available, including our local municipal website by May 30, 2014; and 4. The project put forward in this application will be completed by December 31, CARRIED

18 November 11, 2013 (B) Ministry of Transportation - Winter Maintenance - Nellie Lake RESOLUTION NO Moved by: G. Fournier Seconded by: T. Boucher BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Town of Iroquois Falls authorize staff to advise the Ministry of Transportation of the intention to enter into an agreement for the provision of winter maintenance services to the Ministry of Transportation for the section of roadway that is in the unorganized area of Nellie Lake in Aurora Township; AND THAT the agreement be brought to the regular Council meeting on November 25th, 2013 for formal passing; AND FURTHER THAT the winter maintenance operations may commence in the interim, as required. CARRIED (C) Porquis Stampede and Rodeo RESOLUTION NO Moved by: P. Britton Seconded by: Y. Carriere WHEREAS the Porquis Agricultural Association will be hosting the Porquis Stampede and Rodeo on June 6, 7 and 8th, 2014; AND WHEREAS the Porquis Agricultural Association intends to apply for funding through the Festivals Ontario Grant program; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Town of Iroquois Falls support the event and application for the Porquis Stampede and Rodeo event to be held in June of Adjournment RESOLUTION NO Moved by: G.
