CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 3:02 p.m. A quorum was present. 2. AMENDMENTS/APPROVAL OF AGENDA The agenda was adopted as presented. 3. DISCLOSURE OF PECUNIARY INTEREST AND GENERAL NATURE THEREOF None. Page 3 of 6

APPROVAL OF MINUTES ii) Minutes September 13 th, The minutes of the 200 th Anniversary Working Group Meeting held on September 13 th, 2016 were approved as circulated. iii) Minutes October 11 th, The minutes of the 200 th Anniversary Working Group Meeting held on October 11 th, 2016 were approved as circulated. 5. DELEGATIONS & PRESENTATIONS None. 6. BUSINESS ii) Canada 150 Working Group. Noelle Reeve reviewed what Council has approved to date: a grant application for fireworks and musicians for Canada Day; a grant application for a roots festival maybe Labour Day at EcoTay. Council appointed Councillor Jennifer Dickson (and Reeve Keith Kerr) to the Federation of Canadian Municipalities Canada150 Community Leaders program. The Township will advertise for volunteers to participate in the Canada 150 th Working Group. Application forms are available at the municipal office. iii) Promoting At Home in Tay Valley. Kay Rogers has lined up several interviews and speaking engagements during the winter, including speaking at the Balderson Women s Institute dinner on December 13 th. iv) History Bursary. Kay Rogers confirmed that an agreement was signed between the Township and the Perth & District Community Foundation to administer the bursary fund. A bursary committee will be formed to promote the program and review applicants. A media release is planned for January, and the application forms and process are to be ready at the same time. The Working Group would prefer to use the word scholarship rather than bursary. Councillor Dickson will raise this with Council. Page 4 of 6

5 v) Final Report attached, page UPDATES Kay Rogers presented an outline of report topics and possible content that could be used for the final report of the 200 th Anniversary Working Group. Members are encouraged to review the outline, and communicate any additional ideas to the secretary; especially opportunities to continue economic development based on the 200 th anniversary activities (linking to strategic plan if possible). Susan Freeman suggested a specific meeting in January to discuss this; a date will be determined. i) Betwixt and Between Dinner-Dance. Susan Freeman confirmed that arrangements are finalized. There will be donations taken for The Table and a draw for the bursary fund. ii) Archives and Display. Brenda Kennett reviewed negotiations to extend the loans from the Perth Museum, which agreed to the native artifacts, but not the Cameron blacksmith shop, quilt, and a few other small items. The lobby display at the municipal office also includes settler artifacts from Past Recovery Archaeological Services. iii) iv) Lanark Greening Apple no update. Revenues and Expenses. Noelle Reeve announced that a final balance will be available after the Betwixt and Between expenses. If there are funds left from the grant, they could be used for: framing for a poster of the Anniversary quilt; a plaque for the municipal office marking the 200 th Anniversary; purchasing a reserve of At Home in Tay Valley books for future bursary recipients. 8.
