1 Lynda.com: Online Classes now FREE for Library Patrons The Ohio Library Council and the Ohio Public Library Information Network has recently announced a partnership with LinkedIn to allow Ohioans free access to the online courses offered at Lynda.com with the use of a valid Ohio library card. Lynda.com offers more than 12,000 courses, ranging from Microsoft Office to website building to computer programming to project management to business topics. Normally, the service requires a paid subscription, but now you can access this fantastic resource for free with your library card and PIN from our website. Check out the wide range of courses available under the Digital Library tab on our website at World War I: Lessons & Legacies Exhibit In honor of America s entry into The War to End All Wars in 1917, World War I: Lessons & Legacies explores the war and its lasting impact and far-reaching influence on American life. From the Great Migration to the 1918 flu pandemic and from the unionization movement to women s suffrage, World War I led to pivotal changes in America s culture, technology, economy, and role in the world. It redefined how we saw ourselves as Americans and its legacy continues today.
