Monday, July 9 Returning Robot Wranglers - 10 am. Community Room. Join Miss Pam and our Dash and Dot robots for some coding fun! Registration required, lottery winners announced 1 week prior. Preschool Storytime - 10:30 am. Join Miss Terri for stories, games & fun for children 3, 4 and 5 years old. Sit N Knit - 3:30 to 5:30 pm Knitters are welcome to join the group. Zumba Class - 6:30 pm. Community Room. Zumba is a fun total workout, combining all elements of fitness. Cardio, Muscle Conditioning, Balance and Flexibility. Classes led by Jodi Blum. All levels welcome. Drop-in. Free. Adult Book Club - 6:30 pm. Friends Learning Lab. Join a Library Hours Mon.-Th. 10 am to 9 pm Friday 10 am to 5 pm Saturday 10 am to 5 pm Sunday Closed Friends Fundraisers Mah Jongg and Canasta at 12:30 pm in the Community Room. Mah Jongg on Mondays. Canasta on Tuesdays and Canasta Lessons and play on Wednesdays. Parking is limited. Please carpool. New York City Bus Trip on Wednesday, Sept. 26. $42, includes tip and a light snack. Spots still available. Sign up at the Friends' Station.

Join Miss Vanessa at Toddler Storytime with stories, music and fingerplays for 1 & 2 yearolds. Adult Creative Painting - 6:30 pm. Community Room. Denine from Mermaid Art Studios will lead us in painting a Koi fish. All Supplies are included for $5, payable upon registration. Class is full. Level II classes are for children entering grades 4-6. Classes will be held here on July 11 & 12 from 10 am-noon for Level I students and 1-3 pm for Level II students. Eyes of the Wild! - 7 pm. Friends Learning Lab. Tai Chi - 11 am. Come and experience the gentle, healing movements of the ancient Chinese art of Tai Chi Qigong. Drop-in classes are $7 per session. Coding is Elementary - 2 pm. Community Room. Students entering grades 3 to 5 will work in teams and learn simple coding using Blockly, Wonder, and Scratch. Registration required, lottery winners announced 1 week prior. Rating: R (for sexual content, nudity and some language) Runtime: 130 minutes. Movies are free and open to the public. Teen Summer Reading - Rock Band Club - 2:30 pm Join us in the Valley Youth Center (entrance off of lower parking lot) to play video games Rock Band. This highly interactive game will help you learn musical concepts and introduce you to the basics of playing guitar, bass, drums and singing on pitch. Light refreshments will be provided. Friday Family Popcorn Movie - 2:30 pm. Community Room. Paddington 2. Rated PG. Free and open to all! Saturday, July 14 Meet Dash. Parent-Child Intro to Coding Grades K-2-2 pm. Community Room. Each Parent-Child team will learn simple coding skills to make Dash the robot move, dance and light up. Registration required, lottery winners announced 1 week prior.
