During the fall, an oranization called Shopmobility, based out of Aberdeen, Scotland, reached out to representatives of other Aberdeens throughout the world, including here in New Jersey. They sent us Little Angus and his cousin Donny. The aim is to take our visitors on a tour around our Aberdeen (as others are doing elsewhere) and post photos on social media for all to see. As seen above, Little Angus and Donnie made their debut in November at the ribbon cutting ceremony for MAPL's Little Free Library. In the photo above, you can see them hanging out with Aberdeen Mayor Fred Tagliarini and other members of the Aberdeen town council. Little Angus and Donnie also sat in on a recent library staff development meeting.
11 They also sat in during a recent visit by members of the NJ Titans, who took time from their hockey schedule to read to some of MAPL's kids!j Who knows where Little Angus and Donnie will show up next?!!!
