1 C S B L Bay County Library System Tidings LibraryMar/Apr 2015 /baycountylibrary /bclsteen /bclschildren from the desk of the Director Each year, during the month of March, we compile an annual report that summarizes many of our accomplishments and the financial results from the previous year. The annual report is made available both in print and online. Print copies can be picked up at any of the branches and electronic copies are sent to those who have signed up to receive the newsletter via . In addition, current and past annual reports can be accessed from our website. The report also includes highlights of library programs and joint activities with our community partners. We list numbers that reflect the use of our libraries including visits, checkouts, computer use, database searches, program attendance, and meeting and study room use. Of course, there are many other ways our libraries are used that do not necessarily show up in these numbers: browsing shelves; seeking librarian assistance; using our Wi-Fi; in-house reading; and accessing information from our website. So, be sure to watch for the soon-to-be released annual report for 2014! Kevin Ayala Interim Director Booked for Lunch Join your friends in Wirt Library s Kantzler Community Room for this engaging author and reviewer Friday lecture series. Doors open at 11:30 am.
