That the Nelsonvlle Cty Councl does hereby support the rehabltaton of the former Nelsonvlle Hgh School and Junor Hgh School located on Fayette Street to be known as the Nelsonvlle School Commons Apartment Project, a development that wll provde new unts for work force housng servng households prmarly at 60% of the Area Medan ncome. 2. No offcer has all the answers, however, t's great to have a man of hs calber to turn to, dscuss the ssue, and medate on an outcome that one can go home at nght and feel comfortable wth. Sgt. Kur-tz has taught more than you can ever magne about com~nunty relatons. Most of ths communty lmows the name Sgt. Kurtz, and lkewse he knows most of the communty wth hs 25- years of servng ths area, have seen hm arrest people from strangers, to actual famly members, and never show mpartalty. Ee takes hs Bath very serous and upholds the law regardless of names, frends, fa~ly or your average Joe ctzen. Most of all, he does t respectng ther rghts. We joke wth Sgt. Kurtz about beng an offcer n NesonvlXe before the frst brcks were lad on the streets, but would gladly enter any hostle, or potentally volent stuaton, wth Sgt. Kurtz. n closng, ths s a man who has touched the lves of people n many ways ncludng myself He s honest, hard workng, relable, and most of all a true leader.
