5 MNSTRY OF HOME AFFARS NOTFCATON New Delh, the 29thAugust, G.9.R- 652(E).-n exercse of the powers conferred by secton 18 of Central Reserve Polce Force Act, 1949 (66 of 1949), the Central Government hereby makes the followng rules regulatng the method of recrutment to the posts of Assstant Commandant (Mnsteral) Group "A" post n the Central Reserve Polce Force, n the Mnstry of Home Affars, namely':- 1. Short ttle and commencement. -- (1) These rules may be called the Central Reserve Polce Force, Assstant Commandant (Mnsteral), Group9'A" Post, Recrutment Rules, (2) They shall come nto force on the date of ther publcaton n the Offcal Gazette. 2. Sumber of post, Classfcaton and Pay Band and Grade Pay or Pay Scale.- The number of the sad post, t's classfcaton and the pay band and grade pay or pay scale attached thereto, shall be as specfed n columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules. 3. Method of recrutment, age lmt, qualfcatons, etc. - The method of recrutment, age lmt, qualfcatons and other matters relatng to the sad post shall be as specfed n columns ( 5) to (1 3 ) of the sad Schedule. 4. Dsqualfcaton - So person, - (a) (b) who h.a entered nto or contracted a marrage wth a person havng a spouse lvng ; or who, havng a spouse lvng, has entered nto or contracted a marrage wth any person, shall be elgble for appontment to the sad post : ' 1

Power to relax.- Where the Central Government s of the opnon that t s necessary.or expedent so to do, t may, by order, for reasons to be recorded n wrtng, relax any of the provsons of these rules wth respect to any class or category of persons. 7. Savng - Nothng n these rules shall affect reservatons, relaxaton of age lmt,and other concessons requred to be provded for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Trbes, ex-servcemen and other specal categores of persons n' accordance wth the orders ssued by the Central Government from tme to tme n ths regard.
