Northern Ohio President s Message Jason Shank President of the Northern Ohio Chapter of ASSE Newsletter 1 January 5 th, 2015 Happy New Year, I trust everyone had a great Holiday season with Family and Friends and with the weather we had we couldn t have asked for more. This year the Chapter plans on being busier than normal with some of the normal activities we have been doing such as Northern Ohio Chapter meetings with the Cleveland Chapter of ASPE (see this page to the left), promoting the importance of the Plumbing Industry by doing health Fairs, Boy Scout Merit Badge Sessions and another session of the Cub/Girl Scout Importance of Plumbing (details inside). Some new activities we will be trying this year will be to reach out to community groups in the area and speak on issues of public health and safety such as scald awareness. We will also be looking to speak to other Plumbing Industry Groups about ASSE and try to bridge some gaps between all of the partners that protect the health and safety of our communities. So please take a moment and take a look at this newsletter and see where you might be able to help out. If you have any thoughts, ideas or willingness to help with promoting and educating people about plumbing please contact me at a meeting or by jshnak@plumbers55.com. Best Regards, Jason Shank, President of the NOH Chapter of ASSE
