1 Office of the County Clerk County of Canadian State of Oklahoma Board of County Commissioners Meeting March 5, 2012 The Canadian County Board of County Commissioners met at 9:00am in the Public Meeting Room. Those members present were Commissioner David Anderson, Commissioner Phil Carson and Commissioner Jack Stewart. Chairman Stewart called the meeting to order. Anderson moved, seconded by Carson to approve the February 27, 2012 minutes. Upon roll call: Stewart, yes; Anderson, yes; Carson, yes. The motion passed 3-0. There were no comments from the public. Micah Holman with Share Corporation made a presentation to the Board concerning a product used for road base stabilization. Anderson moved, seconded by Carson to award Bid#2012-#13 Semi-Tractor Truck / Canadian County District #1, 2, & 3 to Rush Truck Centers for $113, Anderson stated the reasons for awarding to Rush Truck Center for the semi-tractor truck were the aluminum cab and hood, external air filtration system, and delivery time. Upon roll call: Stewart, yes; Anderson, yes; Carson, yes. The motion passed 3-0. (Clerk's Misc. File No ) Carson moved, seconded by Anderson to approve the Interlocal Agreement between the Board of County Commissioners of Canadian County and the Board of County Commissioners of Kingfisher County to alternate ownership of Waterloo Road a/k/a County Line Division Road. File No ) Stewart moved, seconded by Anderson to approve the permit for ONEOK Field Services Co., LLC to cross 75 north of the SE/corner of Section 4 T14N-R10W in District #3. File No ) Sheriff Randall Edwards stated there were 63 inmates in the jail and 74 inmates housed out of county. The time being after 9:30am, bids were opened for Bid #2012-#14 Vehicles / Canadian County Sheriff. Bids were received from the following vendors: Missouri State Highway Patrol Kansas Highway Patrol Joe Watt Auto Sales, Inc. Following the Sheriff s recommendation to award to the lowest bid, Stewart moved, seconded by Carson to award the bid to Missouri State Highway Patrol for the following vehicles: 2008 Ford Crown Victoria - $12, Ford Crown Victoria - $13, Ford Crown Victoria - $15, (Clerk's Misc. File No ) Under new business the Board discussed: The County Spring Livestock Show and Sale
