10 JACK ABERNETHY Chief Executive Officer, FOX Television Stations Co-President of FOX News Channel & FOX Business Network Jack Abernethy is Chief Executive Officer of FOX Television Stations, a unit of 21 st Century FOX, and Co-President of FOX News Channel (FNC) and FOX Business Network (FBN). In this role, Abernethy oversees the FOX Television Stations group (FTS), which consists of 28 ownedand-operated stations and duopolies in the nation s largest television markets, including WNYW/WWOR in New York, KTTV/KCOP in Los Angeles, KDFW/KDFI in Dallas, WTXF in Philadelphia, WTTG/WDCA in Washington D.C. and KTVU/KICU in San Francisco. According to TVNewsCheck s annual Top 30 Station Groups report, FOX Television Stations has held the top position since In addition, Abernethy is the Co-President of FOX News Channel and FOX Business Network, overseeing the finance, advertising sales and human resources departments for the cable networks. Abernethy also oversees FOX Television Station s first-run development and the programming service, MyNetworkTV. FTS first-run programs distributed by Twentieth Television include Divorce Court and Dish Nation. Prior to this position, Abernethy served as the Executive Vice President of FOX News, where he led development for long-term strategic and business plans for the successful launch of, what is today, the number-one rated cable news channel. His responsibilities at FOX News evolved to include oversight of finance, human resources, legal affairs, affiliate sales and marketing. Abernethy also spearheaded the launch of FOX News Radio to more than 500 stations across the country, including an exclusive agreement with Clear Channel for hourly reports and a nightly news broadcast. Before joining FOX News, Abernethy had a long and distinguished 15-year career with NBC, where he held a variety of executive finance management positions at the NBC Television Stations division, before being named Vice President of Finance and Operations for CNBC. 12 Suzanne Scott President of Programming, FOX News Channel Suzanne Scott joined FOX News Channel (FNC) at its inception in 1996 and currently serves as the president of programming. In her current role, Scott supervises all network programming, including technical operations and talent management.
