MISCELLANEOUS DECISIONS 6.1. ComAGRI Research Programme for the First Half of 2018 The AGRI Committee will order the three following research projects from Policy Department B (Poldep B) to be carried out in the first half of 2018: - Impacts of digital economy on the food-chain and the CAP; - A comparative analysis of global agricultural policies - Lessons for the future CAP - New competition rules for the agri-food chain in the CAP 2020? 8 A tentative agreement for a research project on On- farm adaptions to climate change has been reached for inclusion in the programme for the second half of Interparliamenty meeting with the Western Balkans and Turkey on The instruments of pre-accession assistance in rural development: lessons learned and future prospects The AGRI Committee will reply positively to the invitation from DG EXPO to this participate in this event and has instructed the Secretariat to organize this participation (date, speakers, etc.) in cooperation with political groups 6.3. Publication of voting lists on the AGRI public websites The voting lists related to votes in the AGRI Committee shall not be published on the AGRI meeting documents webpage or otherwise made available to the public before the votes have taken place Request of the European Court of Auditors to present a number of AGRI related Special Reports in future meetings of ComAGRI The ECA will be invited to present the following special reports in the AGRI Committee (after they have been presented in the CONT Committee and whenever available meeting time can be found for such presentations): - Rural Development Programming: less complexity and more focus on results needed (No 16/2017), led by Court Member Janusz Wojciechowski and published on 14 November; - Greening of the CAP, led by Court Member Samo Jereb and to be published on 12 December; - Basic Payment Scheme for farmers, led by Court Member João Figueiredo and to be published in the first quarter of AGRI Mission to Ireland (First half of 2018) Following the rejection of its previous request by the CoP, the AGRI Committee will reintroduce a request for authorisation of an AGRI mission to the Republic of Ireland with a different focus (exluding Brexit issues) and a different justification 6.6. Objection to the implementing act on The management system of tariff rate quotas with licences to the Committee for the Common Organisation of the Agricultural Markets - Horizontal Questions The objection proposal (and related draft motion for resolution) submitted by Ms Schreijer-Pierik (EPP, NL) is not supported by a majority and will not be voted upon in the AGRI Committee.
