Ask the Nurse & Blood Pressure Clinics are held on the 3rd Wednesday of every month from 10:30 AM to noon, with a registered nurse from Seabury Care Now; Memory Screenings are held quarterly beginning December 13, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM with Tully Meyer, Community Liaison with McLean Home Care & Hospice; Hearing Clinics are held on the last Tuesday of every month from 10:30 AM to noon with a certified hearing specialist from Discount Hearing. The menu features Glazed Black Forest Ham, pineapple cranberry sauce, herb roasted potato wedges, baked cauliflower, tossed salad, French rolls, soft drinks/coffee/tea, and pumpkin bread pudding with whipped cream for dessert! Also enjoy the musical entertainment of José Paulo, who will be singing classic holiday songs as well as other all-time favorites! Hosted by Stonebrook Village At Windsor Locks. Start the countdown to 2018 at our New Year s celebration on Thursday, December 28, in the Senior Center café from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Once again the children from the Windsor Family Resource Center will be joining us for a funfilled morning! On Tuesday, December 19, from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM, the children of the playgroup will sing Christmas Carols for our seniors, as well as create crafts with those who would like to participate. This new writing workshop is designed to help senior citizens recall their life stories and capture them through the written and spoken word. Based on the theory that good writing and storytelling are keys to a healthy mind, you will enliven memories and participate in a creative group activity. If you are grieving the death of a loved one, you may be feeling added stress over the effort needed to plan or participate in the holiday events.
