As we approach our 150 th birthday, let us reflect on how lucky we are to live in such a wonderful country. I cannot say enough for the wonderful job your executive have done over the past year with the events that we have enjoyed. THANK YOU! But we said good bye to one of our hardest workers this year thank you Karen Baxter for all you did. You will be missed. Having said this, we are very desperate for some of you to step up to the plate and help. We will be losing another 4 or 5 members at the end of this coming year and we need new members to fill the positions of those leaving. Outreach cards for sympathy and illness can be sent to members or family. Please forward this information to Sharon Sharp, , so cards may be sent in a timely manner. Future Event Registrations Cheques must not be dated any later than the cutoff date for an event. Cheques dated for day of event will not be accepted. Transportation and accessibility Please note that registrations for our events will include a line that you can fill in if transportation is needed or if you can provide a ride to the event. The committee members organizing that event will make an effort to link those that need a ride and those who can provide one. For all of us, please remember to watch out for each other and offer assistance if needed to members with restricted mobility preferred accessibility.
