The party will be December 8 th at the UAW Hall. We are planning a great evening of fun and hope you all can make it. We need you to RSVP NOW so we can reserve your spot. The dinner will be catered and we will have our Toy Run DJ Mr. Innocent on hand to provide the music. Patti & I got a chance to preview the Nite Lites Christmas light display at the Jackson County Fairgrounds. We have a dinner ride scheduled for December 26 th to drive thru the display and have dinner afterward. Hope you can make it and feel free to bring the kids & grandkids. You can get all the details for this and other events by clicking on the Google Calendar link from the Chapter W Website. After you bring up the calendar you can click on each dinner ride to view the details. Some of the events on our chapter Google calendar have been copied to the Michigan District Google calendar and there is a link to that calendar on the District website. As more and more chapters start a Google calendar- they will be able to add their events and you will see more events show up on the District calendar. Our District Director, Kim Bargeron came up with this idea to hopefully give the Michigan members more choices and chances to participate with their neighboring chapters. We picked up the District raffle tickets at the officers meeting. Get your supply from Kent Naugle and start selling whether you sell to help the Rainbow Connection or sell to help chapter W and the Michigan District. Just SELL! The grand prize this year is for $10,000! We may be able to sell more than in the past since it is a cash prize instead of a motorcycle. Anyone can use a cash prize! Mark your calendars for March 1-2 It s a trip to Gilligan s Island! Wingless Weekend at the Lexington in Lansing! It s sure to be a FUN time. They are also having the Spring Officer meeting at Wingless on Saturday morning. The District COY selection will be early afternoon right after the officer meeting. Patti is the COY coordinator and I ll do what I can to help her out. You all did a great job of bringing in the non perishables for our annual donation to the Daily Bread. Thanks to our 2012 Couple of the Year, Cal & Beth DeLine for delivering the donations of food you all brought to the gathering. Also the Marine Reserves from the Toys For Tots program were at our November Gathering to pick up the toys from the Toy Run. They told the members how the Toys were distributed to the children in Lenawee County. It was kind of one of those feel good moments when they thanked all of us for what we did at the Toy Run. After the Gathering we had a group of 6 people (5 Bikes) meet for that last group ride. With a 68 degree afternoon, Kent Naugle led us on a nice fall ride to Hell, MI where we had ICE CREAM! Showing up at he monthly gathering or meeting and buying a 50/50 ticket is all it takes to cover the cost of your newsletter. It would be GREAT to see all of you there more often. Also, color printing costs the chapter much more than B&W. So the mailed newsletters are now printed in Black & White. If you have internet access and signup for ed newsletters you not only save the chapter postage, but the printing costs as well! When you view the newsletter online, it is in FULL COLOR and you can print it in color if you choose. Contact Ken Kintner to be added to the list. 4 November Gathering - UAW Hall in Adrian Ken won the raffle ticket. Mark won. Sorry Ron, no Queen of Hearts Chapter W and all the toys that were donated to Toys for Tots from the Toy Run. Ken accepted the thank you certificate from Toys for Tots and then they were loaded into their truck. Chapter W also donated a trunk load of food for the local food pantry.

5 Ken and Ed & Vicki Philo went to support the new chapter director at his swearing in ceremony at H2. It was nice to see so many people there!! Kent Naugle led the last ride of the season. Went to Hell for ice cream. Veterans Ron, Roscoe & Kent got free ice cream! Page 5
