Gothia, Commissioner, Precinct No. 3 The meeting was called to order at 2:02 P.M., Douglas Manning, Assistant County Attorney, gave the invocation, Stephen Brint Carlton led in the Pledge of Allegiance and the following business was transacted, to-wit: APPROVE MINUTES Motion made by Jody Crump, seconded by Barry Burton approving the minutes of the Special Court Session held December 20, 2016 at 2:00 P.M., as circulated. APPROVE MINUTES Motion made by Barry Burton, seconded by Jody Crump approving the minutes of the Special Court Session held January 3, 2017 at 2:00 P.M., as circulated. 1. BILLS PAID Motion made by Jody Crump, seconded by Barry Burton authorizing payment of bills approved by the County Auditor as per attested listings: Week of January 10, 2017 GENERAL FUND $85, ROAD & BRIDGE MOSQUITO 2, ADULT PROBATION 1, OTHER FUNDS 3, TOTAL FOR PAYMENT $93, Page 1 of 5

INMATE Motion made by Jody Crump, seconded by Barry Burton authorizing Orange County Judge to EMERGENCY to execute a contract on behalf of Orange County, Texas to provide inmate emergency medical MEDICAL services for inmates who are incarcerated in the Orange County Jail. 5 12. COMMENTS Stephen Brint Carlton-Monday is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Please take time to reflect on what he did for our country. Hospital District is a possible solution for hospital situation but would require a vote from citizens. County does not own hospital, the hospital building or the land hospital is on; therefore the County had nothing to do with it closing. Jody Crump-Thanked Valli Lott for her years of service and welcomed Janell Leger who will take over. 13. ADJOURN There being no further business, a motion was made by Barry Burton, seconded by Stephen MEETING Brint Carlton to adjourn Commissioners Court meeting.
