2 The 3rd Chapter Board of Directors Meeting was held at A and G Arcade in Barangay Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro City. It was attended by seven (7) of the Chapter Board of Directors. The meeting was called to order by Chapter President Ar. Ruel O. Salgado, UAP around 7:30pm. The main agenda of the meeting to discuss about World Architecture Day, updates on CPD Seminar and other matters. 3 ACTIVITY NO.2 Title of Activity September General Membership Meeting Date September 22, 2017 Total Attendees 22 (Twenty Two) Venue Philtown Hotel, CDO Objective of the Activity To discuss upcoming activities for October 2017 Type of Activity x GMM Seminar Socio-Civic Others Activity in line with 4Ps Activity in support of the UAP corporate thrust Profession Professional x Professional Organization Professional Product Unity Accountability Professional Excellence The General Membership Meeting started with a technical product presentation by Panasonic on solar power systems. This was in line with the upcoming World Architecture Day celebration with the global theme: Climate Change Actions. Panasonic Eco Solutions Group was represented by Tess Palma and Ren Noel Peter Gutierrez. After the product presentation, the meeting was called to order by Ar. Ruel Salgado. Main agenda of the evening was World Architecture Day, City Ordinance on Rainwater Harvesting and other matters. 5 ACTIVITY NO.3 Title of Activity City Council Deliberation on Rainwater Harvesting Ordinance Date September 26, 2017 Total Attendees Seven (7) Venue City Hall, CDO Objective of the Activity To assist in the crafting of the Cagayan de Oro City Ordinance on Rainwater Harvesting Type of Activity GMM Seminar Socio-Civic x Others City Council Deliberation Activity in line with 4Ps Activity in support of the UAP corporate thrust Profession Professional x Professional Organization Professional Product x Unity Accountability Professional Excellence The UAP CDO Chapter was invited by the City Council deliberation on the Rainwater Harvesting Ordinance last September 26, 2017 at the Cagayan de Oro City Hall. It was attended by various City agencies including the Office of the Building Official and the private sector. UAP CDO Chapter were represented by Ar. Jefferson R. Javier and Ar. Madelyn Madrid-Trabajo who incidentally also represented the National Housing Authority. During the September 22 General Membership Meeting it was agreed to form a Technical Working Group that would tackle the City Ordinance and provide necessary technical advice to the city council. 6 The Technical Group is composed of (left to right) : Ar. Jefferson R. Javier, Ar. Sherwin Ramosa, Ar. Ray Salva, Ar. Richard Tan, Ar. Rankie Lim and Ar. Jemma Sarol-Semana. The discussion brought out issues regarding the proposed ordinance on Rainwater Harvesting. Further studies were needed.
