Of course, the highlight of the tour is the structure itself. The building now occupied by the museum was built as an Agriculture and Commerce building in It was a neoclassical building that was designed by Filipino Architect Antonio Toledo in the late 1930s. It was left ruins after the liberation in Manila during WWII and later reconstructed according to its original plan and design. The building was also occupied by Department of Tourism and became the Department of Tourism Building. Now, the building is an example of Adaptive Reused. Designed by Ar. Dominic Galicia, a member of UAP Makati, it features 12 galleries (some are still ongoing construction) of natural wonders and treasures dedicated to our country s rich flora and fauna. The special feature of this building is the Tree of Life. The museum will be open to public on April UAP Makati is very thankful to have a special access in the structure. 1 1) UAP Makati poster invite for the said event MONTHLY CHAPTER REPORT This report can be viewed at the UAP Corporate Website Page 4 of 22
