With an evergrowing member network of over 3,500 building industry professionals, the Canada Green Building Council Greater Toronto Chapter is dedicated to creating a cleaner, healthier, highperformance built environment through education, collaboration, advocacy, and innovation. We work with both government and private enterprise to accelerate the adoption of green building principles, policies, standards, and tools. The Canada Green Building Council Greater Toronto Chapter is the primary organization responsible for the facilitation and delivery of LEED workshops in Southern Ontario and provides a wide range of educational and networking events for our members and the green building community at large. What do we do? We facilitate learning. We are the leading provider of LEED education and green building workshops in Ontario, providing over 6,500 hours of training in 2017 through 30 workshops, sessions, and informal learning opportunities. We connect people. Our events bring together green building leaders, professionals, and industry and community leaders. We also connect individuals in the community through our educational programs. We advocate for change. Our network is comprised of the champions of green building in the GTA. Your support helps us advocate for sustainable practices that can transform communities.

3 Using Urban Wood January 16 The Urban Wood Forum, a partnership between the CaGBCGTC and the City of Toronto, now in its 3rd year, showcases wood utilization in the urban context. In 2018, this event will feature the connection between urban intensification, wood design and climate change. 7 Education Summit March 28 Summits are intensive oneday events that allow participants to take deep dives into specific green building topics in the Greater Toronto Area. In previous years the Chapter has hosted the Green Homes Summit and the Existing Building Summit. The focus of the 2018 Summit will be announced soon. 9 Building Lasting Change Conference June 57 The Canada Green Building Council s annual conference, Building Lasting Change (BLC), provides a number of opportunities to showcase your brand in front of green building champions and leaders from across Canada. 13 Emerging Green Professionals (EGPs) Sponsorship The Emerging Green Professionals (EGPs) are students and young professionals committed to being leaders of change in the green building industry. The EGP committee works to organize activities, events and educational programs specifically designed for the EGP demographic and we partner with many of the colleges and universities in the GTA to host these events. The Greater Toronto Chapter of the CaGBC is always interested in working with interested sponsors to support our EGPs.
