SPONSOR LOTTERY SYSTEM/ITEM SELECTION & 2014 NAA EDUCATION CONFERENCE & EXPOSITION BOOTH SELECTION PROCESS Diamond & Platinum Sponsors will have first-options to preferred sponsorship items for the 2013 NAA Education Conference & Exposition & booth selection for the 2014 NAA Education Conference & Exposition via a lottery system. The lottery for the order will occur at the NAA Assembly of Delegates Meeting, November 8, 2012 in Indianapolis, IN. 7 Sponsorship Terms & Condition NAA has instituted the following policies for sponsorship opportunities with the 2013 NAA Education Conference & Exposition. The sponsor agrees that these policies are considered binding and agrees to adhere to these policies in order to secure a sponsorship. Upon submitting the Sponsorship Contract to NAA, the sponsor agrees to comply with the following terms and conditions. Sponsorship Recognition Levels: Diamond Sponsor $100,000 All Diamond Sponsorship Benefits Listed in the 2013 NAA $20,000 Executive Forum Sponsorship $2,500 Capitol Conference Sponsorship $2,500 Assembly of Delegates Sponsorship $5,000 Sponsored Grand Prize Giveaway $70,000 Sponsorship dollars allotted to the Sponsorship item selection Platinum Sponsor $65,000 All Platinum Sponsorship Benefits Listed in the 2013 NAA $2,500 Capitol Conference Sponsorship $2,500 Assembly of Delegates Sponsorship $5,000 Sponsored Grand Prize Giveaway $55,000 Sponsorship dollars allotted to the Sponsorship item selection Gold Sponsor $35,000 All Gold Sponsorship Benefits Listed in the 2013 NAA $35,000 Sponsorship dollars allotted to the Sponsorship item selection Silver Sponsor $12,500 All Silver Sponsorship Benefits Listed in the 2013 NAA As used herin: NAA and/or Show Management shall mean the National Apartment Association, which owns, produces and manages the Conference. NSC shall mean the National Suppliers Council Exhibitor collectively shall mean the entity or individual that applied for exhibit space and each of its officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents, contractors, representatives and/or invitees, as applicable. NAA requires a 100% payment to accompany the Sponsorship Contract. No sponsorship will be acknowledged or promoted, either in print or on the official conference web site, until the sponsor has submitted the contract and payment. Deadline for Diamond & Platinum Sponsors to commit and enter the sponsor lottery system for the 2013 Education Conference & Exposition Item Selection & 2014 NAA Education Conference & Exposition booth selection is November 5, Sponsors who sign up after the deadline will be added to the selection process in order of commitment. Committed Diamond & Platinum sponsors will select item sponsorships based on order of lottery drawing from the November 2012 NAA Assembly of Delegates Meeting. The lottery will be divided into two categories: Diamond & Platinum Sponsorship Item Selection Opportunities and the 2014 NAA Education Conference & Exposition Floor Plan will be provided to sponsors before December 15, Committed and Paid Diamond & Platinum Sponsors will secure sponsorship item selections and select their 2014 NAA Education Conference & Exposition booth at the January 2013 NAA Board of Directors Meeting. Gold sponsors will make their selections based on order of commitments received. After all Diamond, Platinum & Gold sponsors have made their selections the remaining items will be priced a la carte to all other NSC exhibitors. No sponsorship monies will be refunded: In the event of a conference cancellation Unavailability of a particular sponsorship opportunity due to results of the lottery If not all allocated sponsorship item selection dollars aren t spent Cancellations made by speakers or entertainment of sponsored events The cost of individual sponsorship opportunities cannot be shared or split between companies. Should a sponsor elect to cancel their confirmed sponsorship, the sponsor is not entitled to a refund of monies paid to NAA. NAA Show Management must approve all sponsorship recognition including, but not limited to, introductions, presentations, signage, handouts and giveaways. NAA may, at its discretion, replace any speaker or entertainment with what it deems to be comparable talent. NAA reserves the right to modify or cancel, at its discretion, any sponsorship opportunity at any time. Unless expressly authorized by NAA, the sponsor will have no creative input into the production of any sponsored opportunity. There will be no competitive company or category lockouts on any event. All Sponsors must participate in the 2013 NAA Exposition. All sponsors must be National Supplier Council (NSC) member. Each sponsor agrees to submit their company logo to NAA at the time of commitment. Preferred file format is 3 x 3 EPS and JPEG file. Logos can only contain one company name. If a new logo is submitted to NAA after the original one is received, NAA will try to update all conference materials moving forward but it is not guaranteed. Sponsorship deadline is May 15, Sponsors will not be accepted after the deadline.
