2 About The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) was established in It represents over 32,000 members in more than 232 chapters in Canada, the United States, Mexico, and China, and works to advance philanthropy through advocacy, research, education, and certification programs. The Greater Toronto Chapter was established in 1994 and is the largest chapter in the world with over 1,300 members.
