Last year s Congress was our most successful to date with more than 50 delegates in attendance, including a record breaking number of international attendees. The AOPA Congress is the premiere event for the Australian orthotic/prosthetic (O&P) profession, providing unequivocal access and opportunities to connect with O&P practitioners, leading academics, technicians, students, consumers and other health professionals. The 2018 Congress will coincide with Amputee Awareness Week and will be held on Thursday th, Friday 5th and Saturday 6th of October at The Star Gold Coast. The Star is a stunning high-end venue located in the heart of Broadbeach on the Gold Coast. This premium event space will provide our Exhibitors with exceptional access to and engagement with attendees, enabling you to maximise your networking and promotion of your organisation. Continuing from the success of last year s event, the three-day educational program will again feature one day of practical workshops and two days of keynote speakers, podium presentations, AOPA forums and social events. Our Congress theme Embrace the past: Design the future will enable attendees to consider where the O&P profession has come from, establish where it is positioned today and form ideas in anticipation of the future. AOPA has developed a new range of Exhibitor Packages that will allow up to 28 Exhibitors to participate in the 2018 Congress. Stretching a massive 1,085 square metres, with 6 metre high ceilings, it is certainly going to be a stand-out and memorable exhibition space. The floor plan at this year s venue allows our Exhibitors to be centrally located between the plenary room and the breakout rooms, ensuring constant flow through the Exhibitor area and maximum access to attendees. In addition, our Congress program features extended break times to allow even more opportunities to engage with attendees. Delicious catering will be served throughout the Exhibitor area during breaks. In addition, our premium café is also located in the Exhibitor area, ensuring constant engagement with attendees throughout all three days of the Congress. 3 EXHIBITION FLOORPLAN > EXHIBITION OPTIONS The 2018 AOPA Congress provides a premier Exhibitor space boasting over 1,085 square metres and ceilings that stretch 6 metres high. Opportunities for engagement with Congress attendees are bolstered by the unique floorplan layout. The floorplan highlights a luxurious and spacious Exhibitor area that will enable you and your organisation to easily stand out, be noticed and productively engage with attendees. 7 WORKSHOPS Reserving one of our Practical Workshop sessions provides your organisation with an opportunity to share your specialised clinical and technical expertise with delegates. Don t miss out on securing one of these highly sought after sessions as our workshops are always popular with delegates and Exhibitors alike. There is no need to hire an off-site venue to launch new products or demonstrate new technologies - you will have access to all of the delegates in one convenient location! Morning and afternoon sessions are available for our Exhibitors to reserve on Thursday th October. We allow our workshop participants the freedom to design and deliver innovative education sessions to suit the key messages of their organisation. It is important to note that delegates will be able to select which workshop sessions they wish to attend when registering for the Congress. The number of attendees for each session will be capped to ensure these workshops remain intimate and interactive, whilst also maximising the ability to learn, discuss and engage. We encourage the use of guest speakers, engaging clinical/technical content and high quality promotion to help attract attendees to your session.
