SECONDED By Neelam Sharma, THAT the Regular Agenda of January 14, 2016 be received and adopted with the addition of the following items: F.01 vii: Thank you letter from Delta Parks, Recreation & Culture to the Delta Police Department dated January 7, G.04: Announcement from Fraser Health of START Team, Supporting Children & Youth through Mental Health Crisis. G.05: Delta Police Foundation Be a Star Event Invitation for Chair Jackson and the Board to the 1 st Annual fundraising gala on February 13, A. RECEIPT AND APPROVAL OF MINUTES Receipt and Approval of Regular Board Minutes (A.01) Receipt and Approval of PPE Regular Minutes (A.02) SECONDED By Neelam Sharma, THAT the Minutes of the Regular Board Meeting of December 9, 2015 be received and adopted. 2 B. DELEGATIONS/PRESENTATIONS Delta Police Association (B.01) Sgt. Brian Hill attended the meeting for the DPA, and advised that there are no issues to bring forward at this time. C. PRIORITY ITEMS Crime Stats (C.01) Delta Police Statistics November Staff joins the meeting MOVED By Neelam Sharma, SECONDED By Hari Aroon, THAT the November 2015 Police Statistics report be received for Inspector Lorne pike joined the meeting at 9:18 am. D. REPORTS Budget Report (D.01) PPE Committee Report (D.02) -Staff joins the meeting Donation-Bentall Kennedy (D.03) Budget Report: Operating, Capital and Overtime Expenditures, for the period ending November 30, SECONDED By Neelam Sharma, THAT the Budget report for the period ending November 30, 2015, be received for Department Policy Review report dated December 18, SECONDED By Neelam Sharma, THAT the report be received; the amended policies AB52 Medical Examination and AC20 Respectful Workplace be approved; and future Department Policy Review reports include a synopsis of the changes to each policy. Nikki Hewitt joined the meeting at 9:41 am. Report from the Finance Manager dated December 7, SECONDED By Neelam Sharma, THAT the report be received and adopted with the following recommendations: A. THAT Board approve acceptance of a donation from Bentall Kennedy (Canada) LP in the amount of $1, B. CONSENT AGENDA Former Courthouse Renovation (E.01) 2016 Meeting Schedule (E.02) -Board member joins the meeting Action Document (E.03) Contract Award: Architect for Former Courthouse Renovation, adopted by Delta Council at the December 14, 2015 Regular Meeting. SECONDED By Neelam Sharma, THAT the report be received for Revised 2016 Delta Police Board Meeting Schedule. SECONDED By Neelam Sharma, THAT the Revised 2016 Delta Police Board meeting schedule be approved. Cameron McLeod joined the meeting at 9:56 am Review and update action items from previous Board meetings. SECONDED By Neelam Sharma, THAT the action document be received for F. CORRESPONDENCE Correspondence (F.01) Expression of Appreciation (F.02) 7 items of correspondence. i. Letter from the Delta Chamber of Commerce dated December 1, ii. Letter from Gulzar Transport Inc. dated December 14, DC Beaudoin commented on the letter from Gulzar Transport, and taking the time to express their appreciation, in writing, speaks to the excellent work by our officers in the community.
