Adoption of agenda LIBE_OJ (2017)0227_1 The agenda was adopted. 2. Chair's announcements Linguistic profile The Chair indicated that interpretation in Gaelic and Croatian was not available for this meeting. Endorsement of Coordinators' recommendation (Rule 205) Further to Rule 205 of the Rules of Procedures the Chair submitted the following Coordinators' recommendations for approval: Appointment of Rapporteurs: Mr Corrao (EFDD) has been appointed Rapporteur on Countering money laundering by criminal law 2016/0414(COD). Pursuant to Rule 205 the Committee endorsed this recommendation. 3. Hearing on the situation of fundamental rights in Hungary The Chair opened the hearing. Coordinators of the political groups in LIBE decided during the meeting of 14 November 2016 to organise an exchange of views on the situation of fundamental PV\ docx PE v01 00 United in diversity

The LIBE Chair, Claude MORAES, underlined the importance of the exchange with national parliaments on the Commission proposals for the reform of the Common European Asylum System (CEAS). He reiterated the role of the EP as a co-legislator for these files.
