Even though some information may have already been provided, other thoughts and feelings may have not been shared. Spending time with those close to you listening as well as talking can foster communication about details, plans and hopes, as well as understanding feelings pertaining to this subject. Join Adolf Hansen for a program based on the book that he and his wife, Naomi, recently wrote Caring for Those Who Remain: A Practical Guide for End-of-Life Preparation (Inkwater Press, 2016) now available in Marquette s Library. 4 BE A FLU FIGHTER! November 1 November 30 Art Wall Area For the past 17 years, Marquette residents have contributed very generously to the annual Salvation Army Angel Tree program which provides Christmas gifts for the children of the working poor throughout our community. Scarves, hats, mittens, socks, toys and checks are all appreciated. We look forward to your continued support! VOTE BY TRAVELING ELECTION BOARD Thursday, November 1 9:00 am 3:00 pm Foundation Hall Marquette and a group of resident volunteers, led by Providence Benedict, have worked with the Marion County Traveling Election Board to provide an opportunity for residents to vote here rather than having to go to the new polling site (Crooked Creek Towers). VETERANS DAY CELEBRATION Friday, November 9 1:30 pm Foundation Hall Everyone is invited to participate in a service to honor our Marquette veterans.
