3 April 5, 2018 Tour and Dinner Meeting Hosted by HNI Central Seating Operations Our hosts! During the April 5, 2018 ASQ Sec on 1303 mee ng hosted by the HNI Corpora on (formerly HON Industries), members had a tour of the Musca ne plant and learned that HNI is the second largest office furniture manufacturer in the world and the leading manufacturer of gas and wood burning fireplaces. Since its incep on, HNI has focused on making its manufacturing facili es and processes more flexible while reducing cost, elimina ng waste and improving product quality. While HNI Corpora on is s ll headquartered in Musca ne, IA, the company has expanded manufacturing to ten states and three countries. May 2018 Iowa Quality Newsletter Page 3

With this update, Section meetings are now worth 0.5 RUs (previously these were 0.3 RUs). This is one more reason to attend a section meeting.
