Parade line-up at 9 am. Parade starts at 10 am. Chicken and Noodles dinner at American Legion from 11 am to 2 pm. Ice cream treats at Bacon Funeral Home before the fireworks begin. Fireworks at SCORE park beginning at dusk. Plan to spend the day in Nevada! Upcoming Nevada Events Midtown Market June 4 through October 1 The Midtown Market is held from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Nevada City Hall parking lot. There will be a variety of produce, meat and crafts to choose from. The Nevada Community Band will perform at 7 pm through July 16. Weekend on the River July 12 through July 15 Story County Conservation is accepting registrations until July 3 for a weekend on the Mississippi River. Cost is $110 and includes 2 nights in a cabin, canoeing, fishing and hiking. Call for information. You can now find the Chamber on Facebook! Like the Nevada Chamber of Commerce Young Artists Summer Workshop July 4 GLFoster artworks will be hosting another Young Artists Summer Workshop on July 4 from 1 pm to 3 pm. Cost is $20 per class plus $5 supply fee. Text Gwen at Bloom with Us! Theraband and Exercise Classes for Seniors Zearing Health Care Center will offer Theraband and Exercise Classes on July 9 and 23 and August 6 from 9:15 to 10 am. Reserve your spot by calling Shelly at Ribbon Cutting at Zearing Health Care Center July 11 The Zearing Health Care Center is holding a ribbon cutting and BBQ on Thursday, July 11 from 5:30 to 7 pm. The invitation flyer is attached. Decades of Decadence The Nevada Rotary Club will be hosting Trivia Night & Dessert Fundraiser for the Nevada Community Historical Society Saturday, July 13 from 7 to 10 pm at Indian Creek Country Club.
