Senator Cervantes moves to approval the amend agenda of January 23, 2017 Senator Erives Seconds Vote Passed Guest Speaker: Annie Willmon Ropes Course o Team Building and Self-esteem Building o SJC Students are the main reason they have the challenge course o Engage and involve your clubs o Rates based on what you are doing and how many people you have o Don t have to use the Challenge course can come to your club or organize o They will give you the lowest cost o Give them 2 weeks in advance to schedule o Locate at the HHPC Officer Reports President Report: o Welcome to our first Senate Meeting o We had a officer retreat Making sure we had a good constitution o We have a full Senate and Executive Council o New officer aide To assist the gap from the RIF of Lisa To help officers o Still need one officer aide o Three more interns and full on programmers o Read an Official Response to the Board of Trustees Came from the Special Senate Meeting last December 12, 2016 Vice-President Report: o Will do the review the constitution and by laws Every Thursday s 1-2 o Club Stipends will be coming out soon Take advantage of the Ropes Course

2 CFO Report President Esmiol: o Funds Student Fees Trying to understand the system Making sure the fee goes to the right program CCO Report: o Will try to go to all clubs to see if they need my help or student governments help o Make you have all paperwork turn in o Checking all schedule meetings for clubs Advisor Reports Director Marcia Sterling Penn o Student Rush Tomorrow and 11-1 in Student Sun Lounge If you want a table meet her after the meeting o Clubs recs Shannon from the Native American Center can do Recs but give her time to do them o General officers Monday 9:30-10:30 Wednesday 1:00-2:00 Thursday 2:00-3:30 Committee Reports CCO Committee o We sent your club standings o A club ask us to defines what a student is o Meeting times are Wednesday 2:30-3:30 Board Report o The response to the Board of Trustees o Board thought nothing affect the students, everything was fine o Faculty committee made a response to Board and President by vote in no confidence o Light fiction between faculty and Board and President o Student Government will be attending the next Board Meeting o Next Board Meeting February 7 7:00 pm and 5:00pm is the working meeting, location next to the President Office Club Reports Psychology Club Meeting time, every first Friday of each 12 and every third Tuesday at 2:30 African American Club MLK Event very successful Only 2 members PTA Electing new officers this week Geeks and Gamers weekly meetings 6-10PM on Friday nights Next Tourney is Saturday, Feb 4 th NSLS Wednesday, Local speakers 3-4 about leadership Training Day Feb Suns Room
