THE SPEAKER (SAMUEL H. SMITH) PRESIDING PRAYER HON. MICHAEL K. HANNA, member of the House of Representatives, offered the following prayer: Thank you, Mr. Speaker. Good morning. Before I ask you to bow your heads in prayer, let me just take a moment to echo the prayer yesterday that Representative Denlinger offered. I thought it was very thoughtful, and I would want to echo every request in prayer that he said. I would urge you to reflect on those thoughts that he shared with us yesterday. Please bow your heads in prayer. God, send us into our work this week with new resolve. Help us to solve the problems that have perplexed us and to serve the people we meet. May we see our work as part of Your great plan and find significance in what we do. We do not know what any day will bring us, but we do know the hour for serving You is always present. We dedicate our hearts, minds, and wills to Your glory. We ask this through You, Father. Amen. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE (The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by members and visitors.) The following announcement I would ask you to please pay close attention to as we proceed to organize the committees. I will read the different committees in groups of four or five, and if you are a member of that committee, go to that area. We will be in kind of the four or five corners of the House. If you are on two of those committees in one grouping, please try to get from one to the other so that you can be identified as being present and part of that committee organization. The committee chairmen, I would ask that as soon as you have met, please come back to a microphone so that you can be recognized and report that your committee has been organized. GROUP I The SPEAKER. The first group of committees, if we could just please pay attention, it will probably help us move along with this. Aging and Older Adult Services will meet in the Governor's entranceway, here to the left of the rostrum; Agriculture and Rural Affairs, in the rear of the House by the door to the Post Office; Appropriations will meet in the well of the House; Commerce, in the rear of the House by the members' lounge; and Tourism and Recreational Development, out in the Post Office lobby.
