GENERAL ORDER OF BUSINESS Motion to accept: Minutes: The Board of Commissioners Regular Meeting of November 9th; Planning Commission Meeting of October 5th, Recreation Board Meeting of November 6th, Plains Sewer Authority Meeting of October 13th. Monthly Reports of the Police Dept. for October, Fire Report for November, Zoning Permits issued for November and also the Secretaries Report for November. Payrolls of the Administrative, Zoning Office, Department of Public Works and Recreation Departments. Also the Treasurers Report - General Fund Checking Account Receipts $693,489.20; General Fund Checking Account Disbursements $634, 649, 06. CORRESPONDENCE - None COMMITTEE REPORTS POLICE - Yozwiak reminds residents to be vigilant with your bank accounts, cars, and porch deliveries. Reported November thefts of 18 and accidents of 26, Domestic problems 15, 1 child custody and 1 PFA. The Police are down three guys due to injuries. FIRE - Ginti reported 133 responses, mostly medical calls and inspections. Proud of the fact that the department participated in the Coats for Kids program which supplied kids with 25 coats with hats and gloves. DPW - Shubilla reported on the Electronic Recycling Event that was held early November. We received 9,641 pounds of recycling. Hope to do it again in the future. Yozwiak reported that we did get reimbursed $ from the County for having the event. Shubilla also mentioned that we may have a paper shredding event. Biscontini yard was is over. Leaf vac is still out there. Call the town hall if you have any to be picked up. New program for bulk pick-up once a month, $5 an item.

2 DECEMBER14,2017 PAGE TWO Lions Club had a tree lighting ceremony day before Thanksgiving and thanked all three departments for participating. Christmas Parade was held Saturday after Thanksgiving. Thanks to all three departments for participating. Thanked DPW for putting in the new Christmas trees at the Vet Park and Town Hall. Thanks to the Sax's' for decorating the trees and putting up wreaths. RECREATION - Cinti announced that the pavilion rental applications for 2018 will be available at the Town Hall. Can't be submitted until January 2nd. Get your dates as soon as possible. Plains residents get first chance. Dates will be picked in February. Comment from Sax it has been the same rate for years All For Motion Garried. Motion to enter into a service agreement with M & L Mechanical Co. for Heating and Air Conditioning at 126 N. Main Street and Fox Hill Firehouse No.2. lor2q18. BY: Shubilla 2ND: Ginti All For Motion Garried. Motion to adopt a resolution for garbage fees. The resolution will indicate the cost of bags will be $40 a box or $20 for a half a box effective immediately. BY: Yozwiak 2ND: Shubilla Barry Kresge from the audience asked the reason for the increase. Sax responded a lot of things have gone up. We have to buy a garbage packer this year almost $200,000. Yozwiak, fuel, tipping fees, repairs, labor, insurance, taxes are down. Just gave back money today, tax base is gone in flats. Hopefully people will recycle more. Menn there is no town in this valley, where you can get bags for 80 cents. We are still way under what it costs for garbage collection in any other town. Biscontini the money we have been getting in from the casino has been the same and costs are going up. With this we can raise additional money for our departments. Yozwiak added that they are going to have competition with those mini casinos. We don't know what is going to happen. Sax this was a tough decision and the only way without raising taxes. Cinti added that the last motions trying to find away to save some money and vigilant with the budget. Biscontini the RFP for curbside collection may lead to twice a month recycling. ANNOUNCEMENTS - The next regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners will be held January 11,2018 at 7:30 P.M. A Re-Organization Meeting of the Board will be held on Tuesday, January 2nd at 7:30 P.M. Holiday hours for the Administrative Office: Closing on Friday, December 22nd at 1200 Noon and re-open December 26th. Closing on Friday December 29th and re-opening January 2,2Q18. The Zoning/Code Enforcement Office will re-open January 2'd.

Residents with Monday garbage collection will have their garbage picked up on Tuesday December 26th and January 2'd. Residents are reminded that there is an I bag limit the week of December 26th through December 28th. All other schedules will remain the same. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Sax added that one of our regulars, Stella Tomshack, had a stroke a couple weeks ago and asked to keep her in your prayers.
