Show 10 AM to 5 PM Registration starts at 8 AM. Meet at the 7-11 across from Bass Pro Shop at 8 AM & cruise to show at 8:15 AM. Contact Pete for more info Feb 14: Monthly Club Meeting at MeMaws BBQ on Eau Gallie Blvd beachside. Social & Dining at 6 PM with meeting at 7 PM. This is an Ice Cream Social Event so bring Your favorite toppings to use & share Feb 18: Cats at the Cocoa Village Playhouse at 7:30 PM contact Paul for more info Feb 20: Dinner at the Dixie Crossroads Restaurant on Rt. 406 in Titusville, 5 PM. Introduction of Visitors George introduced Carl & Judy and Bob & Cindy Hegerman ( 67 yellow conv/ New Member) and we welcomed Grandma back. Secretary Report No meeting in December. Treasurer s Report - Mike absent. Governor s Report We have our sanctions for our car show. Anyone interested in NCCC meeting reports, see Jim. Webmaster s Report Frank absent. Website updated. Officer At Large John had nothing to report. Competition Director s Report Don went over up-coming events then said see website for dates and information on upcoming shows. Social Activities Tom absent. Parades Pete, nothing at this time. New Business Vette Bux distributions being reviewed by Board. July 3 rd, July BBQ, October 22nd, Vettes on the Ave, and December 9 th, Christmas Party. Sunshine Gail read names of birthdays and anniversaries for the month of January. Meeting Adjourned Next month: Meeting Feb. 14 th, Ice Cream Social, Everyone bring a topping.

5 February 2016 Space Coast Vettes Newsletter Page 4 Two businessmen in Florida were sitting down for a break in their soon-to-be new store.. As yet, the store wasn't ready, with only a few shelves set up. One said to the other, "I'll bet any minute now some senior is going to walk by, put his face to the window, and ask what we're selling." No sooner were the words out of his mouth when, sure enough, a curious senior walked to the window, had a peek, and in a soft voice asked, "What are you sellin' here?" One of the men replied sarcastically, "We're selling a -holes." Without skipping a beat, the old timer said, "Must be doing well... Only two left." Seniors -- don't mess with them ************************************************************************************************************* Talking Dog A guy is driving around the back woods of Tennessee and he sees a sign in front of a broken down shanty-style house: "Talking Dog for Sale" He rings the bell and the owner appears and tells him the dog is in the backyard. The guy goes into the back yard and sees a nice looking Labrador retriever sitting there.? "You talk?" he asks. "Yep," the lab replies. After the guy recovers from the shock of hearing a dog talk, he says "So, what's your story?" The Lab looks up and says, "Well, I discovered that I could talk when I was pretty young. I wanted to help the government, so I told the CIA and they had me sworn into the toughest branch of the armed services...the United States Marines. You know one of their nicknames is "The Devil Dogs." In no time at all they had me jetting from country to country, sitting in rooms with spies and world leaders; because no one figured a dog would be eavesdropping. I was one of their most valuable spies for eight years running, but the jetting around really tired me out, and I knew I wasn't getting any younger. So, I decided to settle down. I retired from the Corps (8 dog years is 56 Corps years) and signed up for a job at the airport to do some undercover security, wandering near suspicious characters and listening in. I uncovered some incredible dealings and was awarded a batch of medals. I got married, had a mess of puppies, and now I'm just retired." The guy is amazed. He goes back in and asks the owner what he wants for the dog. "Ten dollars," the guy says. "Ten dollars??? This dog is amazing!? Why on earth are you selling him so cheap?" "Because he's so full of bull... He never did any of that crap. He was in the Navy!"
