2 The Middle East Conflicts Wall Memorial in Marseilles If you have never visited the Middle East Conflicts Wall Memorial in Marseilles, Illinois it is worth the time and effort. It commemorates all of the American service men and women who have given their lives in fighting the War on Terrorism helping to keep our homeland safe. On black granite panels, over 7,000 names are inscribed memorializing those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in serving their country. The Memorial is open 24-hours a day, every day of the year. Also, be sure to visit the museum located in the IV Cellular building. The museum is a creation of the families and friends of those whose names are upon the granite panels. There are photos, momentos, uniforms, tributes and other bits and pieces placed at the Memorial which were subsequently collected and displayed in the museum. Some articles are left at the memorial, such as an afghan made by an Illinois State Prison inmate honoring American service men and women. While no academic history is presented in the museum, there are many personal histories told. One such story is of a mother and her son that she loved, raised and lost. Another story of a father and his daughter and their time together on this earth, and of comrades in arms before their last battle. The museum is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. During the months of April through October the museum is open on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. MTCO Communications and IV Cellular are proud to have been a big part in bringing the memorial and the museum to the riverfront for all Americans to cherish forever. Thank you to all veterans of the United States Military, and Happy Veterans Day. MTCO Salutes you. On The Cover The Washington Pride Plaza and Community Spirit Sculpture was unveiled on September 17, Jim and Sharon Adall, whose house was destroyed in the tornado, came up with the idea for this project. The sculpture was funded entirely by donations. For more information about our services, please visit or scan this QR code with your smart phone. MTCO Communications 220 N. 3 Entertainment & Technology Dronie The New Pic In 2015 Move over Selfie. In 2015, the Dronie has taken the place of the most popular pictures being taken by people all over the world. Don t think that drones are a trend that has already peaked. Instead of hearing about who has a drone, expect to hear more about how they are being used. It may be common to see a drone owner controlling one in the public park, but the discussion about realworld uses is just beginning. With companies like Amazon looking hard at utilizing them for deliveries, you ll notice them becoming larger parts of our daily lives.
