I look forward to a good year! I am glad we have Annie and Brian back in the kitchen. Let s support them and our Club. Our Club, as I ve said all these year, is the BEST Veteran s Club in the world!! We are planning a lot of good events for the coming year. Hopefully I will see you at the Club soon! CORPORATE METTING August 9th - AUXILIARY MEETING August 11th - 6:30 PM A MESSAGE FROM OUR AUXILIARY PRESIDENT Don Coleman Thank you to everyone who helped with Christmas in July. It was a successful event. All proceeds are going to our Christmas Fund. We could not have done it without the generosity of all who participated and the help of our many wonderful volunteer elves. THANK YOU!! To honor the 15th Anniversary of 9/11 we are having a special breakfast buffet on Sunday, September 11th. Our local first responders will be invited as our guests. If you know any first responders, please extend them an invitation. The Club will be providing the meat and we are asking members to donate the sides (sign-up sheet is at the bar). The cost will be $5.00. Be sure to mark your calendar. November 6th-12th will be USO WEEK. There will be special activities planned every day. More information will be available in future newsletters. Update your calendar for this special week. I often hear people say they don t know what is going on at our Club. The high cost of printing and mailing caused us to stop mailing the monthly newsletter. We send the Newsletter monthly to you via . If you have signed up to receive the newsletter via and are NOT receiving it, please Dave Bray at news@cassvets.org. We have a brand new website, cassvets.org, and two monitors in the Canteen with up-to-date club activities. I am looking for ideas on how we can improve communication. If you have suggestions, see me to share your ideas and thoughts. Our next Auxiliary meeting is August 11th at 6:30 PM. Please join us. Most items are single copies and will need to stay at the club, so bring your own paper and pencil to write down the information.
