2 President s Corner: Thanks to the Ladie s Auxiliary for a successful pancake breakfast season. If there is a new member coming into the club in May or June, they are more than welcome to join the Casino Club golf leagues. Thanks to Gary McDonald, Bill Wisneski, and all their volunteers for a great St. Patrick s party. Don t forget Detroit Tigers opening day, Monday, March 31st at 1:00 p.m. Quarter pound hot dogs, potato salad, and chips for just $2.00, will be served from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Fish Frys are on Friday April 4th and April 18th. The Club will be closed Easter Sunday, April 20th. Our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Jim Davis, Don Morgan, and Jamie Hosford, who passed away last month. Support your club and our troops, Ted Kowalewski Thumbs Up Auxiliary News Thanks to all the ladies who attended the meeting. It is time for elections again and we are looking for people to run for the board. This is a great opportunity to get to know all the members of the auxiliary. All positions are available, so please consider running for one. We are always looking for new members to join the auxiliary. If you are interested, please come to a meeting and we can get you signed up. The auxiliary is another way to support the club. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of Janice Johnson on the loss of her mother, and to Diane Veenkamp who also lost her mother. May our thoughts and prayers help them during this difficult time. We will be having a June banquet, and the tickets will go on sale at the April meeting. The cost will be $7.00. This format of the monthly newsletter will be available to you wherever you travel and have an internet device at your disposal. Men s Golf League If the snow is gone, our men s golf league will start on April 16 at 3:00 p.m., at Braeside Golf Course. There will be a meeting at the Casino Club on April 9, at 7:00 p.m. to sign up and go over the league rules. If you can not make the meeting, you may sign up at the golf course during the first three weeks of play. If you have any questions, call me.
