3 8.0 Board Business 8.1 Debenture By-Law # nd Reading MOTION #17-18/11-21/0089 BE IT RESOLVED that the Board approve second reading of the Borrowing Debenture By-Law # for the sum of Two Million Seven Hundred Fifty Seven Thousand One Hundred ($2,757,100) as outlined by Public Schools Finance Board. The motion Carried Ecole Powerview School Grad Request MOTION #17-18/11-21/0090 BE IT RESOLVED that the Board approve in principle the safe grad committee request from Ecole Powerview School regarding the 2018 grad dinner on June 23, 2018, subject to the Superintendent's final approval. The motion Carried Follow Up to Procedure Discussion - Manitoba School Boards Association E2G operations plan YouTube video viewed. MOTION #17-18/11-21/0091 BE IT RESOLVED that the Superintendent provide an action plan with a timeline for the Board's review of all proposed procedures (and their titles) with rationale for those that need priority focus. Upon a roll call vote being taken, the vote was: Aye: 4 Nay: 4 : 1. The motion Defeated. 4-4 MOTION #17-18/11-21/0092 BE IT RESOLVED that the Superintendent present the procedure manual at the December 12, 2017 Board meeting to follow up with a Board vote at the January 9, 2018 Board meeting.
