1 I. OPENING OF MEETING A. Call to order 1. The regular meeting of the of the Fairport Exempted Village School District is called to order at p.m. in the Fairport lower level library room. 2. Roll Call: Treasurer, Mr. Lew Galante Please stand and join the Board in the pledge to our flag. II. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Moved by, seconded by, to adopt the agenda as presented and with such modifications made by the Superintendent. III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Moved by, seconded by, to approve the minutes of the March 26, 2018, regular scheduled meeting, and the April 19, 2018, work session meeting, in pursuant to Board policy BDDG. IV. PRESENTATION Fifth Grade Exhibition-style Action Projects Isabella Fazekas and McKenzie Lette - Kindness Project Lily Elmore and Izzy Wood - Vocabulary Daily Challenge V. Moved by, seconded by, to approve the checks and the spending plan report for the month of March 2018 as recommended by the Treasurer. B. Moved by, seconded by, to approve the following student activity accounts and class accounts for fundraising purposes, as recommended by the Treasurer. 3 Class of 2030 Class of 2031 VIII. REPORTS OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE TEAM McKinley Elementary - Harding - IX. RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE SUPERINTENDENT A. Moved by, seconded by, the Board is asked to approve the International Baccalaureate primary years program collaboration program, as recommended by the building Principal and district Superintendent. See Exhibit A B. Moved by, seconded by, the Board is asked to approve the disposal of outdated unused athletic uniforms, as recommended by the Activities Director, building Principal and district Superintendent. See Exhibit B C. Moved by, seconded by, approve the Pre-Bond services agreement for ThenDesign, as recommended by the facilities committee and district Superintendent. See Exhibit C D. Moved by, seconded by, approve the Jefferson County Educational Service Center (JCESC) Virtual Learning Academy (VLA) participation agreement for 36 months, beginning July 1, 2018 and ending June 30, 2021, for the dollar amount of $ , as recommended by the building principal and district superintendent. Moved by, seconded by, the Board is asked to approve the following donations, and for such appropriations to be placed in Fund 019, as recommended by the building Principal, and the district Superintendent. Personnel Moved by, seconded by, to engage in the following personnel actions listed below; provided, however, that should any item included within this motion be declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be voided or illegal, all remaining items within this motion shall remain in full force and effect notwithstanding the status of the voided item. To employ the persons for the position and at the rate of compensation and other terms and conditions of employment as listed below for the school year, as recommended by the district Superintendent, pending completion of all successful new hire paperwork including FBI/BCI.
