Science Building accessibility Other Reports CD Rep (Aya Reid) I finished up my 3 hours in the office and attended 2 meetings I am working on getting a forum together with campus affairs There's been a few meetings I've attended this week that has had to do with cultural diversity. I am getting together the schedule of different organization's meetings that I attend. This will be distributed to all senators at the next meeting. 4 NONE NewBusiness Motion #21-03 CA Whereas students voted to support a $50/semester Wellness Center Fee Whereas Student Senate adopted a resolution last year supporting the fee Whereas this fee has yet to be assessed Whereas assessing the fee now will add to the reserve Be it resolved that the university will begin assessing the Wellness Center fee as soon as possible. Motion Tabled Motion #22-03 Bergley/Bjornson Whereas the media conference registration fee is #35 per person Whereas the President's office has deposited $ into the Student Senate account to fund senate at the conference Whereas the total for the conference is $ Be it resolved student senate cut a check for $105 for three members of senate to attend the MSUSA media conference contingent upon President Barden's approval of change of funds use. Motion Passes Unanimously Motion #23-03 CA Whereas students don't vote enough Whereas part of being a good citizen is voting Whereas legislators will take students more seriously
