San Jacinto College will meet, commencing at 10:00 am on Friday, February 22nd, 2019 at MVC in Room 851, and at SJC in Board Room 205. I. Opening of Meeting Call to order: 10:06 AM Pledge of Allegiance- We now give time before the meeting to recognize those who wish to recite the pledge, reminding those in attendance that they are not required to do so. 2 Approval of Minutes: February 8th, 2019 Motion to approve minutes of February 8th, 2019 by Senator Zacarias, motion seconded no objections II. Board Reports and Information Items (all reports are to be limited to one minute each, additional time can be allotted with a motion and second from the Senate) A. Advisor s Report B. Committee Reports SGA Feedback- Kudos, Confessions and Concerns This time is reserved for discussions among SGA legislators related to feelings, thoughts, intergroup dynamics and group norms. Items on the agenda may not be discussed during this time. Public Comment on Non-Agenda Items (all public comments are to be limited to one minute each, additional time can be allotted with a motion and second from the Senate) Public Comment on Agenda Items (all public comments are to be limited to one minute each, additional time can be allotted with a motion and second from the Senate) III. Discussion/Action Items (the following items may be discussed and voted on at this time. 8 Minutes per topic with 1 minute per speaker. Members of the public may speak after the discussion by the voting body has closed and before a vote by the voting body is taken. ) 1. Guest speaker Anjeanette Oberg on Mental Health Awareness/ Women's and Gender Empowerment events, and collaboration opportunities with SGA Guest speaker couldn t make it, but plans/ideas discussed by the Student Government Association in great detail. 2. Discussion and approval of $100 for the Conscious Consumer Day event Motion to approve by Vice President Gonzalez, motion seconded
