Chairman Hovland called the meeting to order at 8:00 A.M. Motion by Miranowski, seconded by Larson and carried, to approve the agenda with additions. Motion by Larson, seconded by Folstad and carried, to approve the minutes of the July 10, 2018, meeting. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Folstad and carried. Resolution Exhibit E for Grant Agreement to State Transportation Fund (Local Road Improvement Program) Grant Terms and Conditions SAP July 17 th, 2018 WHEREAS, Wilkin County has applied to the Commissioner of Transportation for a grant from the Minnesota State Transportation Fund for Local Road Improvement and WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Transportation has given notice that funding for this project is available; and WHEREAS, the amount of the grant has been determined to be $750, by reason of the lowest responsible bid; NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that Wilkin County does hereby agree to the terms and conditions of the grant consistent with Minnesota Statues, section , subdivision 5, and will pay an additional amount by which the cost exceeds the estimate, and will return to the Minnesota State Transportation Fund any amount appropriated for the project but not required. The proper county officers are authorized to execute a grant agreement with the Commissioner of Transportation concerning the above-referenced grant. Adopted this 17 th day of July, Lyle Hovland

7 Attest: Janelle Krump County Auditor Treasurer Wilkin County Board of Commissioners I hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a Resolution duly passed, adopted, and approved by the County Board of Wilkin County on July 17 th, Janelle Krump Motion by Klindt, seconded by Folstad and carried, to set public hearing on September 5 th, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. in the Campbell Community Center, in Campbell, Minnesota, for consideration of the revocation of 4 miles of County Road #152 from TH #9 to CSAH #19 in Champion Township. The County Board set the minimum sales price for seven tax forfeited properties which they will approve and set the Public Auction date at the next regular meeting. Commissioners Miranowski and Larson agreed to canvas the Primary Election on August 16, 2018, at 10:00 A.M. Motion by Klindt, seconded by Folstad and carried, to approve payment by Auditor Warrant to the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension in the amount of $15.00 for a background check. Informational items were shared. Joseph Mattson, Sheriff s Deputy, presented a request to begin a Canine Program in Wilkin County. The Board agreed to consider it during the budgeting process. The Family Services Report was approved as presented by David Sayler, Director, on motion by Larson, seconded by Klindt and carried. With no further business before the Commission at this regular meeting and the next meeting date set for the Preliminary Budget Meetings on August 2, 2018, in the Commissioners Room at 7:30 A.M., Chairman Hovland adjourned the meeting at 11:04 A.M. on a motion by Klindt, seconded by Larson and carried.
