1 Meeting of the Dyersville City Council, Monday, #25-13 Time: 6:00 p.m. Place: Council Chambers Roll Call: Present: Mayor James Heavens Council Members: Mike English, Bob Platz, Mark Breitbach, Molly Evers & Dan Willenborg Robert (Gar) Kramer who passed away on October 13, 2013 was recognized with a moment of silent for his years of service to the City of Dyersville as Mayor and Council Member. Council Member Platz moved to approve the Monday, agenda as presented seconded by Council Member English. Angel Delmore, 521 3rd St NW, talked about a man on 3rd Street NW that keeps calling the cops on his neighbors. He actual turns in single mothers saying that they are prostituting, drug dealers and don t deserve their children because they can t afford them. The cops have been down the street many times for this man. She is asking that something be done about this man. Jennifer Maker, 724 2nd St NE, stated she came in on October 10, 2013 to City Hall to make a payment. She does not like the discouragement and treatment received from ladies upstairs. Mike Comer came in shouting at her telling her to shut up and almost had the handcuffs on her. She is scared to come into City Hall to make a water payment. It is a law that the ladies upstairs have to make arrangements for payments. She does not appreciate treatment received. Linda Maker, 521 3rd St NW, is concerned about her neighbor Dushawn Armstrong, 510 3rd St NW, getting a ticket while parked in her driveway. The court date on the ticket was for a Sunday. Council Member English moved to go into executive session pursuant to section 21.5(c) of the code of Iowa to discuss strategy with counsel in a matter that is presently in litigation where it s disclosure would be likely to prejudice or disadvantage the position of the City in this litigation seconded by Council Member Evers. Council Member Evers moved to come out of Executive Session seconded by Council Member Platz. Council Member Breitbach moved to adjourn at 8:07 p.m. seconded by Council Member English.
