12 Theory late, rapid industrializers had strong, centralized states -managed their processes of industrialization/economic growth national ideologies stressed hard-work and the sacrifice of individualism gendered employment practices produced a cheap labor supply (during industrialization and high economic growth) gender inequality reflected in employment and national ideologies
