2 welcome message from Chief Bryan Larkin OACP board of directors Dear Colleagues and Friends: It is with great pride and enthusiasm that we have you join us in Waterloo Region for the 2017 Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police Annual Meeting. On behalf of the Waterloo Regional Police Service, we look forward to being your host agency, and sharing all that our Region has to offer. The agenda for this year s meeting is action-packed as we explore our theme of Bridging Leadership and Innovation. We are fortunate, as Canada s technology triangle and as an area rich with history, that we are able to offer insights from the incredible talent and proven industry leaders who call Waterloo Region home. As a member of the OACP Executive, and as a proud Chief, it will be an honour to showcase the incredible work of our 1,100 members, to enjoy a healthy dialogue with Ontario s police leaders, and to develop plans for the future throughout the broader policing community.
