5 Chamber News Hello Chamber Members! My name is Jennifer Guenther, and I am excited to begin working alongside Executive Director, Scott Henke. It will be a pleasure to meet each of you in the weeks and months ahead. There are so many wonderful events and networking opportunities heading into 2018! I bring a variety of skills, experiences, and passions to the Chamber. For two decades I taught in the Rubicon Jt. 6 School District. From there I followed my research and love for teaching beyond the classroom and started my own educational consulting business, AIM Forward, LLC. One area I specialize in is educating children, parents, teachers, and community members on concepts related to financial literacy through programs. Early$tart = Money$mart is my main program which focuses on reaching pre-school to middle school children and their families. During the past three years I have worked with schools, businesses, churches, youth organizations, universities, non-profits, and banks to lead financial literacy and capability programing in Wisconsin and Illinois. Overall, I have been involved in a diverse amount of community projects, programs, and events. While creating programs and working with area non-profits I have gained experience in administrative support, grant writing, and website design. I also have many years of experience presenting information and collaborating with others to efficiently get projects up and running. My family and I have lived in the Hartford Area (Town of Erin) for just over 20 years. Raising three kids in the Hartford Area has been a blessing. From the excellent educational opportunities, to the family-fun times in the surrounding area, to the safe and beautiful environment, we are proud to call Hartford our hometown. I am very active in educational and outreach events at my local church and within my children s baseball league. During my free time you will find me on the golf course, walking my dog, gardening in my flower bed, reading on my deck, or volunteering at a local event. I look forward to learning more about each of you! 5
