1 MONDAY AUGUST 2, 2004 The Board of Supervisors met at 9:00 a.m. Monday the 2ndday of August 2004, in the Supervisors' Room at the County Courthouse, Town of Poplarville, Mississippi with the following members of said Board and officers of said County present, to-wit: Robert Thigpen, President, member from District No. Four; Vice- President, Larry Davis, member from District No. Three; Anthony Hale, member from District No. One; Danny Wise, member from District No. Two; Troy Stockstill, member from District No. Five; Nova Carroll, Board Attorney; Adrain Lumpkin, County Administrator; David Earl Johnson, Chancery Clerk; and Joe Stuart, Sheriff. Upon motion made by Danny Wise and seconded by Anthony Hales, the following order was adopted, to-wit: to approve the Resolution stating the Board's desire and support of the extension of Mississippi State Highway 53 from Poplarville, Mississippi, northwesterly along the existing route known locally as the Oak Hill Fords Creek Road to its intersection with Mississippi State Highway 43, Pearl River County, Mississippi, as indicated. Upon motion made by Anthony Hales and seconded by Larry Davis, the following order was adopted, to-wit: to direct President, Robert Thigpen, and Board Attorney, Nova Carroll, to sign agreement with Rural Development regarding Waste Water Treatment Facility at Pearl River County Justice Center. 12 ORDER TO APPROVE REQUEST FOR ANNUAL FUNDS FROM POPLARVILLE-PEARL RIVER COUNTY AIRPORT BOARD There came on this day to be considered by the Board of Supervisors of Pearl River County, Mississippi, the matter to approve request for Annual Funds from Poplarville-Pearl River county Airport Board. Upon motion made by Larry Davis and seconded by Anthony Hales, the following order was adopted, to-wit: to approve the request from Poplarville-Pearl River County Airport Board for their annual support payment in amount of $5, Ordered and adopted, this the 2nd day of August, Voting AYE: Anthony Hales, Danny Wise, Larry Davis, and Robert Thigpen. 13 ORDER TO TRANSFER FUNDS TO PEARL RIVER COUNTY HOSPITAL AND NURSING HOME There came on this day to be considered by the Board of Supervisors of Pearl River County, Mississippi, the matter to transfer funds to Pearl River County Hospital and Nursing Home. Upon motion made by Anthony Hales and seconded by Larry Davis, the following order was adopted, to-wit: to transfer remainder of funds from Pearl River County Hospital and Nursing Home millage account to the facility with the exception of $10, to remain in the account with understanding that these funds will pay debt service on bond issue for facility expansion.
