2 Page 2 Prior Lake Chamber News Greetings from your Chamber Chair - Kim Prchal Blahnik, Prchal & Stoll, PLLC Boom! The holiday season is upon us. Bye to Halloween, hello to Thanksgiving and for those counting, we have 8 Fridays until Christmas. This is my second to last month as Chair of the Prior Lake Chamber. In the month of November, I want to talk about gratitude. I would like to thank you all for this opportunity to serve as Chair. What a humbling, challenging, and amazing experience it has been. I am grateful for the experience. It was not at all what I thought it would be, but it has made me a better person. While I am in a leadership role, I feel like the Chamber has given me the tools to be a leader, and perhaps now I am on my way to the same. I have a lot to learn, however, I am thankful for a family, job, and volunteer opportunity that allow me the environment to humbly learn to be a better wife, mother, co-worker, friend, and community member. As we head into the holiday season, I challenge you all to use your time to do something better for our community. Whether that be to volunteer a couple hours, to apply for a committee or board position, or to find another way to give back. It allows you to see the world from a different perspective, and all of us should throughout our lifetime continue to change our perspective. I am also extremely indebted to those on the Board with me. I am surrounded with a team of people that care so much about our Chamber members, and who continually strive to make the Prior Lake Chamber the best Chamber in Minnesota. A special thanks to Sandi and Pattie, there is no way I would want to be Chair without your guidance and support. Thank you again for your membership. I hope to see you for our November 28th membership meeting at Mystic for our very popular progressive luncheon!
