Three new chapters accunt fr 117 members and all f their membership trends are upward. b. We have 5 chapters with less than 30 members, including 1 new chapter. c. We have 6 chapters with members, 3 f which are trending dwnward. d. Future effrts will be made t reach ut t these chapters t gauge supprt. 2. Facebk Membership Prgram : Steve Wrrall t target MI Facebk visitrs fr membership. Cst is $100. Extra per mnth beynd current FB management cntract that will be part f 2019 Membership budget. 3. Retentin Effrt - s : Wrked with ur Webmaster Randy and expanded the number f chapters t 6 that will be used fr testing the renewal campaign at 60, 30 and 0 days. The cncept is fr MI t attempt renewal at 60, 30 and 0 days via s and ne letter ( split nt yet determined), and then hand ff the member t the Chapter President and Membership Directr. The methd that is being tested has three imprtant advantages: 1. It saves MI abut $1500. Per year ver ur current csts. 2. It gives us real time alert and prcessing f member renewal dates and real time alerts sent t chapters. 3. The message includes a link that simplifies the sign up prcess by cntaining that members' inf. 4. Outdr News - Began cnversatin abut trading membership inf/ articles fr ads in newspaper and their targeted s. $5 rebate prgram frm ON fr each new subscriber brught in by a chapter. The Fisheries and Research Cmmittee has received a ttal f five (5) Gil Hamm Fund Grant Requests fr this perid. Summary is attached. 3. Received updated Executive Summaries and Financials fr the highly anticipated research prject, Quantifying Catch and Release Mrtality and determining its effect n Suthern Muskellunge Ppulatins. 6 Crprate Secretary, Jim Fritz The EC Meeting Minutes were sent ut t the Executive Cmmittee by Rbert Petzke due t my absence f being in Alaska. They were reviewed and sent t be psted n the Website. Upcming Presidential Electin Bylaws 3.06 (1) reads as fllws: (1) PRESIDENT. The Bard Members and Chapter Representatives shall elect the President-Elect in the fall prir t the expiratin f the current President's term and fllwing the fur (4) Reginal Meetings. Presidential nminatin and electin prcedure. The nminating perid fr M.I. President is frm the Annual Bard Meeting thrugh September in the year f electin. The vte shall ccur prir t December 15 th fllwing the last Reginal meeting. If the Regin des nt cmply with required fall meeting dates f Octber r Nvember they will frfeit the right t vte in the electin. Electin / Tellers Cmmittee (E/TC). The E/TC shall be cmprised f the President, a persn selected by the President, and the Crprate Secretary with the latter serving as Chair. In the event that the President is running fr re- electin, his/her psitin in the E/TC will be ccupied by the Immediate Past President. In the event that there is a vacancy in either psitin, the EC shall appint a substitute frm amng the Senir Reginal Representatives. The E/TC shall ntify all Bard Members and all the Senir Reginal Representatives immediately after September 30 th the candidate(s) fr the ffice f President. Regins may then discuss the candidates during their Reginal meeting. The E/TC shall prepare a ballt suitable fr the electin. The ballts are t be ed r electrnically distributed t the qualified vters by the Administrative Secretary but returned t the Crprate Secretary within ten wrking days. The Crprate Secretary shall prvide cpies f all returned ballts t the E/TC. The E/TC shall cunt all ballts and certify the result. The E/TC shall ntify the Bard f their certified results. Ballts shall be retained fr ninety (90) days in the event f a challenge. The President- Elect shall have advisry status nly and shall assume the Presidency at the cnclusin f the Annual Bard Meeting f the fllwing year fr a term f tw (2) years. Eligibility fr Office, Bylaw 3.05 (2) (2) PRESIDENT. Any member in gd standing shall be eligible fr electin as President, prvided: (a) He/she has been a member f the Crpratin fr a perid f at least five years at the date f the electin, and (b) He/she has previusly served as a member f the Bard fr a perid f at least twelve cnsecutive mnths. Duties f the President Bylaw 3.07 (1) (1) PRESIDENT. The President shall be the chief executive fficer and shall preside and cnduct all meetings f the Bard and the Executive Cmmittee. The President has n vte unless such vte wuld impact the vte n any issue r matter mved fr adptin and

7 shall neither make nr secnd any mtin. The President shall have general and active management f the business f the Crpratin, subject t the supervisin and directin f the Bard and shall see all such rders and reslutins shall be reprted n by the President at the next fllwing Bard meeting r as stipulated in the mtin. The President shall be respnsible fr preparing the Annual Bard Meeting Agenda. The Agenda t be psted thirty (30) days prir t the Annual Bard Meeting n the Muskies, Inc. Website. In the absence f the President r inability t act in his/her ffice, the Vice President Finance/Treasurer shall be next in line t fulfill the President s duties, then the next successr in line shall be the immediate Past President. If needed, a third successr shall be chsen by the remaining members f the Executive Cmmittee t serve until the next annual meeting. The President shall appint a qualified Parliamentarian fr Muskies, Inc., wh shall serve at the pleasure f the President and the Bard withut pecuniary cmpensatin except fr reimbursement f necessary and reasnable expenses within the plicy limitatins f Muskies, Inc.
