Belena to enter into a Memorandum of agreement with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to be represented by Dir. Gemma B. Joseph F. Violago, Representative of Nueva Ecija, 2nd District to sponsor a Bill in Congress that would amend Republic Act 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code, by giving authority to Local Government Units to collect their share for sand and gravel from rivers that pass through their territorial jurisdiction; (Authored by Hon. Felimon) 7.- COMMITTEE REPORTS 7.1 Draft Resolution No : A resolution authorizing the construction of a temporary waiting shed in that vacant lot owned by Mr. Albert Tan along Maharlika Highway beside the PNB Bank provided, that said structure shall be removed at the expense of the city government in the event that the landowner shall be needing the property; (Referred to the Committee on Infrastructures, Lands and Countrysides Development & Laws and Legal Matters) 7.2 Draft Ordinance No : An ordinance prohibiting all Acts of Discrimination against Homosexuals in Any Office in San Jose City, whether in the government or in the private sector and providing penalties for violation thereof; (Referred to the Author & Laws and Legal Matters) 7.3 Draft Ordinance No : An ordinance authorizing the Honorable City Mayor, Marivic V. Belena to sell the lots at Violago Village situated at Barangay Malasin being used as resettlement area for the urban poor who were displaced due to the construction of the City Sports Complex and promulgating policies and guidelines therefor; (Referred to the Committee on Laws) 7.4 Draft Ordinance No : An ordinance authorizing Traffic Enforcers to confiscate the driver s license of traffic violators; (Referred to the Committee on Transportation) 7.5 Draft Ordinance No : An ordinance authorizing the construction, operation, installation and maintenance of cellsite for Globe Telecom Inc. to be erected at the property of Mr. Manuel Bryan B. Ursua located at Barangay Sto. Nino 1 st, this City; (Referred to on Infrastructures, Laws and Telecommunications) 7.6 Draft Ordinance No : An ordinance enjoining haulers of sand and gravel developers and/or landowners from backfilling agricultural lands without having been reclassified to non-agricultural use; (Referred to the Committee on Infrastructure and Laws) 7.7 Draft Ordinance No : An ordinance approving and/or confirming barangay legislations of various barangays, to wit: ((Referred to the Committee on Barangay Affairs) a) Resolution no. 03; Ordinance No. 02 of Barangay Sto. Nino 2 nd embodying its Supplemental Budget No. 01 amounting to P106,803.63;

3 Order of Business, March 30, 2015 Page 3 x x 7.8 Draft Ordinance No : An ordinance approving and/or confirming legislations of various barangays, to wit: (Source: Endorsement from the City Budget Office of various dates) a) Ordinance No. 002 of Barangay Crisanto Sanchez, in regard to the reprogramming from the 20% Development Fund in the construction of Drainage at Zone 4 in the amount of P175, and only the amount of P48, will be taken for the construction of Smearing Station for use of said barangay. 7.9 Draft Resolution No : A resolution authorizing the Honorable City Mayor, Marivic V. Belena to accept the Donation of a parcel of land consisting of 359 square meters embraced on TCT No located at Barangay Abar 1 st owned by Messrs. Faustino S. Lazo, married to Marcelina Balbin, Guillermo L. Salvador, married to Segundina Estillore and Lucila S. Escorpiso, married to Ramon Escorpiso, in favor of the city government. Said lot is currently being utilized as Road Right of way of said barangay; (Referred to the Committee on Legal Matters) 7.10 Draft Resolution No : A resolution requesting the Department of Science and Technology and the Department of Health to determine the effect of Silica, a component found in burned rice husk to human health and to suggest safety measures for its disposal; (Referred to the Author Councilor Atty.
