1 Warsaw Village Council Meeting Minutes November 16 th, 2016 The regular meeting of the Warsaw Village Council was held on Wednesday November 16 th, 2016 at 7:00PM. The Mayor Ron Davis called the meeting to order and lead the Pledge of Allegiance and Council President Ed Kent lead us in prayer. 3 Finance reports were distributed to Warsaw Village Council Members for the month of October Fund Status, Checking & Savings Reconciliations, Payment Register, Receipt Register, Payroll Register, Appropriation Status, and Outstanding Water/Sewer Reports were to the council members. 5 Z0NING REPORT- Steve Kempf Steve Kempf was in attendance and let us knows there is still one building permit out that he can t seem to get the paperwork. We will work in getting that taken care of for the Village. CEMETERY- STREET REPORT Ed Robinette As part of the ongoing Traffic sign retroreflectivity maintenance program they replaced one traffic sign that were faded and non-compliant with the newly refurbished complaint signs. They repaired and painted the posts of twenty traffic signs throughout the Village. They have got snow removal equipment read and winterized the summer equipment. WATER AND WASTEWATER REPORTS Ed Robinette The operations are great for the month of October and the Iron and Manganese levels were very low. They treated and pumped 2.29 million gallons in the distribution system. That would be an average of 7,024 gallons per/month for each of our 326customers. As part of the EPA s asset management Program mandate. They will continue to update the entire Village s asset including the Waste Water Plant, Water Plant, and Village infrastructure. They are almost ready to begin installation of the Wastewater Flow metering system and should be completed shortly. 7 RECREATION none New Business: The Warsaw Association will be having parade November 27 th, 2016 at 6:30PM at the Gazebo. The Christmas lights will be put up throughout the Village getting ready for the holidays. The Mayor Ron Davis - Village of Warsaw presented the Walhonding Valley Museum a Proclamation. The Proclamation was presented during their ceremony for paying off the mortgage. The Finance Committee and Employee Benefits Committee held their annual meeting November 16 th, 2016 at 6:00PM. Ed Kent, Brenda Davis, Jesse Fischer, Chuck Donnell, and Tammy Pope The following changes were presented as follows: Ed Robinette Health Insurance Increase from $ to $1, Pay Increase 5% on Water/Sewer wages Keeping Cell phone, Clothing, Life Insurance and Administrator the same. Tom Savage- $13.00/hr and Increase Cell Phone to $ Robert Wagner $13.00/hr and increase Cell Phone to $ Cemetery employee $9.00/hr Tammy Pope-Fiscal Officer $1,200/yr increase for keeping Cemetery Records Council Meeting for the next elected term $50.00/per meeting Council $55.00/per meeting President Motion made to accept the wages and rate increase 1 st Brenda Davis 2 nd Corey Fischer Davis_Y J Fischer Y Funk Y Kent_Y C Fischer Y Donnell Y
